Billy Mullinax serves as a Senior Human Resources Specialist in the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command’s G-1 Operations Strategic Recruitment Division.
He held two different military occupational specialties in the U.S. Army, working in Human Resources and Military Police.
He served two tours of duty in Iraq and in Arizona in support of the U.S. Border Patrol.
Raised in both Tennessee and Wisconsin, Mullinax joined the Army National Guard while in college.
“It was a quick decision but ended up being the best decision, especially after September 11, 2001,” Mullinax said.
Mullinax completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Benning, Ga., and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
Serving in the Army has had a lasting impact on Mullinax.
“I am the man I am today because of the military. The Army Values are something to this day that I still follow,” he said.
According to Mullinax, working at AMCOM is very rewarding.
“I have the privilege of making a difference each day by providing great customer service all while still supporting the war fighter,” he said.
