Rapid Supporters formally inducted into NCO corps

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va.— Standin' tall and lookin' good! Seventeen Soldiers assigned to the 688th, 689th and 690th Rapid Port Opening Elements were officially inducted into the noncommissioned officers corps during a ceremony here today.

The ceremony was the first of its kind at Fort Eustis, according to the guest speaker, Command Senior Chief Mikendra Porter. In addition to the RPOE Soldiers, the joint event also included service members from the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force.
