Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii —late last night at approximately 11 p.m., the Tripler Medical Center experienced a 10-inch water main break on the installation. Department of Public Works crews (DPW) with U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii have been working to repair the water main line beginning early this morning.

The Army's DPW team, in cooperation with the Honolulu Board of Water Supply’ opened an "inter-connection" line to access a source of drinking water for the installation prior to repairs being completed.

Water conservation notices have been posted on the U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii social media pages www.facebook.com/usaghawaii and www.instagram.com/usaghawaii for residents, single Soldiers, and all offices on Tripler until further notice.

Additionally, all medical appointments have been cancelled today. Lastly, the Tripler Swimming Pool and Fitness Center are closed until further notice; see www.hawaii.armymwr.com for available alternatives. Please share with your constituents.
