Team CECOM,

As the end of FY22 comes into focus we have some big changes coming our way to close out the year.

As I’m sure you all know, our esteemed DCG, Mr. Larry Muzzelo, retired after over 37 years of federal service. I hope you joined us in wishing him farewell during our official retirement ceremony, Aug. 25, 2022. It can still be seen on the events page of the CECOM Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/823952109012377.

Although Larry’s knowledge and leadership will be missed, just as the old Army adage goes, “The Army (and CECOM) goes rolling along!” Both CGs and DCGs will change-out over time however, the organization will always remain. On that note, as we await to announce our new CECOM DCG, I wanted to notify you all that Mr. Francis (Frank) King, CECOM’s Chief Counselor, will serve as the acting DCG until a permanent appointee has been selected. As an SES with over 30 years of federal service and our principal legal advisor, Mr. King is more than qualified to aid in the continuity of our unique workforce until the official selection is made in the coming weeks.

This week, I also want to take a moment to applaud and recognize our CECOM teammates who received the employee, supervisor, and team of the quarter awards. Their outstanding achievements and contributions should not go unnoticed, and I thank them for their dedicated service to our Soldiers!

Congratulations to the following CECOM/C5ISR FY22 3rd Quarter Winners:

These types of awards are a good way to honor and recognize our people! Thank you to all of the award winners for your innovation and forward thinking. Please be sure to offer them your congratulations the next time you see any of them!

Lastly, over the past few weeks I’ve really appreciated all of the support CECOM has provided to our installation’s virtual career fair, APG Hiring Days! It’s extremely essential to build and maintain a force of highly skilled professionals, so please continue to be great ambassadors for our organization.

Thank you all for your continued support and dedication to our Nation.

Combat power! Always ready!

Sincerely,

MG Rob Edmonson II
