WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, N.M. (August 1, 2022) White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Library held a Harry Potter Birthday Bash, one of countless held every year across the world celebrating the character’s birthday. This was the WSMR Library’s second year celebrating and 70 people attended, doubling the number of attendees from last year.
Those who celebrated spent time with the Sorting Hat, decorated canvas bags and flags with fabric markers, took photos in the Wanted Wizard photo booth, and watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone [Film]. Food and drink were provided by the WSMR Library and the WSMR Roadrunner Lanes donated cupcakes for the children.
