Military aircraft noise advisory for Tripler Army Medical Center

TRIPLER ARMY MEDICAL CENTER, Hawaii – A U.S. Marine MV-22B Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 363 is scheduled to land twice, at Tripler Army Medical Center, approximately between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., on May 25, 2022.

During this time the aircraft may be heard by surrounding communities.

In addition to the increase in noise, a small portion of Jarrett White Road and Bergquist Road in the vicinity of the IHG Army Hotel will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The hotel's parking lot will be closed as well. During the closure, motorists will need to use Krukowski Road.

U.S. Army Soldiers with 8th Forward Surgical Team will be conducting medical evacuation drills aboard the Osprey. The training is being conducted in order to expand joint ground and air capabilities between the Army and Marine Corps.
