Vroom! Did you know that Command Sgt. Maj. Lonnie Gabriel has been riding a motorcycle for over 22 years? Today he completed the advanced motorcycle safety course at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.

The class is mandatory for all personnel riding a motorcycle on or off post. Because the course is mandated for all Soldier riders, they are at no cost to the Soldier, according to Gabriel.

The refresher class covered safe driving basics, such as changing lanes, getting on high ways and practicing curves.

The class is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
