FORT KNOX, Ky. — New York Times and USA Today bestselling author John Gilstrap will be the guest speaker during a Barr Memorial Virtual Library Authors at Your Library event Feb. 24, beginning at 6 p.m.

Gilstrap will discuss Blue Fire, the second book in his series focusing on the wake of a global conflict that has devastated America and one woman’s efforts to lead — and protect — a community of survivors determined to rebuild all they have lost.

The author of over 20 thrillers, including the Jonathan Grave series that first appeared in 2009, Gilstrap’s prior works include five stand-alone novels and one nonfiction thriller about the Delta Force rescue of Kurt Muse.

Those interested in participating in the free event must email the library at barrlibraryevents@gmail.com to register. Library staff will then send a link to the event. Officials ask that those participating follow the link and join the event a few minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
