United States Border Patrol (USBP) agents and senior leadership working and assigned to the Yuma Sector joined Yuma Test Center Commander Lt. Col. Alicia Johnson and Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) CSM Herbert Gill for a tour of the post in mid-January.

"The thing I like most about this trip today are these folks are looking to take care of the warfighters," said Deputy Chief Kenneth Blanchard. "That is what we are trying to do with Border Patrol, take care of our front line."

Deputy Chief Blanchard was joined by USBP Agent's Gregory Lairmore and Dustin Taulbee, the Adjutant to Chief Chris Clem of the Yuma Sector Border Patrol.

"It is mutually beneficial," said Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Blanchard. "I think we learned a lot about what is done here."

The agents got to see how YPG range operations function, took part in an aerial tour of YPG's ranges, and witnessed a 120-mm mortar propulsion test.
