How to Register for the Upcoming SFAB INDOPACOM Assessment & Selection at JBLM

JOINT BASE LEWIS MCCHORD, Wash. – The Security Force Assistance Command is hosting an upcoming Assessment and Selection for Soldiers stationed in the INDOPACOM region who are interested in volunteering for a Security Force Assistance Brigade, Feb. 28 - Mar. 05, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Wash.

While the specific events comprising the A & S will not be disclosed before arrival, the selection process has been thoughtfully designed to identify Soldiers who stand out amongst their peers as mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared and embody the attributes of an Advisor.

Registration for A & S is a necessary step for all enlisted staff sergeants and below as well as pre-command captains. The instructions for registration are almost identical for enlisted and officers with a single exception that officers must also submit their registration documents through the AIM Portal.

If you believe you have what it takes, follow this step-by-step guide for registration.

Step 1. Fill out a DA 4187, then save the document in this format, (Rank_Last Name_DA 4187_YYYYMMDD_SFAB_A&S.pdf).

Step 2. Fill out a DD 2808, (must open on government computer) then save the document in this format (Rank_Last Name_DD 2808_YYYYMMDD.pdf).

Step 3. Fill out a DD 2807-1, (must open on government computer) then save the document in this format (Rank_Last Name_DD 2807 1_YYYYMMDD.pdf).

Step 4. Submit your documents by emailing them to usarmy.jblm.5-sfa-bde.list.5-sfab-recruiting@army.mil from your government email account.

Step 5 (Officers Only). Submit your documents through the AIM Portal.

Step 6. Our team will be in contact with you in the coming days.
