Team CECOM,
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed some well-deserved time off!
I've enjoyed wrapping up 2021 with you and I am incredibly proud of all CECOM has accomplished despite the ongoing challenges of the pandemic.
My wish for each of you in the coming year is that you are able to find peace, grace, and ongoing success. During this time of year, it’s easy to get lost in the stress of the holidays and I would like to remind each of you to pause and find joy in the small moments. Thank you for all you've done in 2021; I can't wait to see what we'll accomplish together in the New Year!
In recognition of the federal holiday, CECOM will function at reduced manning levels on Thursday, December 30. Consistent with mission requirements, I encourage our Army Civilians to take annual leave, with supervisor approval, and our military personnel to use passes or leave. I authorize supervisors to grant a 59-minute early release for all military and Army Civilians who will be working on Thursday, December 30. As is standard for early release announcements, contractor employees must adhere to the terms of their contract regarding early release and cannot charge the Federal Government for any time while released.
Happy New Year, Team CECOM!
Combat Power! Always Ready!
