The U.S. Army Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4 held its first Logistics Photo Contest in December 2020 to help tell the visual story of the Army’s sustainers. Last year’s submissions ran the gamut across each of the Army’s functional logistics branches, and we’re looking forward to more this year!

Similar to last year, the requirements are simple: submit photos taken in 2021 which you feel most effectively showcase the logistics enterprise, profession, and/or day-to-day activities.

The top five photos across each branch (Quartermaster, Ordnance, and Transportation), as selected by G-4 leadership, will be posted to the G-4’s Facebook page on December 23rd – the number of likes a photo receives from the time of posting until January 1st, 2022 will determine a winner within each branch.

Eligibility: The contest is open to all photographers – military, civilian, or contractor.

Submission Requirements: Photos must pertain to Army Logistics subjects or activities which occurred in the calendar year 2021. The submission period is November 19th – December 12th, 2021.

To participate, you may email the photo as a file (such as a .png or .jpg) or link to its host to usarmy.pentagon.hqda-dcs-g-4.mesg.lig@army.mil with the following information included:

  1. Name of the person who took the photo
  2. A caption identifying what is occurring in the photo
  3. The date the photo was taken

Please be sure to include "2021 US Army Logistics Photo Contest" in your email's subject line.
