WASHINGTON -- The Department of the Army announced today the upcoming winter rotation to the INDOPACOM region for elements of the 5th Security Force Assistance Brigade, stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Advisor teams from the 5th SFAB will deploy to the region to support the United States’ commitment to allies and partners.

“The U.S. Army has consistently excelled at building lasting partnerships with professional militaries and at building the best sergeants in the world,” said Brig. Gen. Curt Taylor, commander of the 5th Security Force Assistance Brigade. “As we deploy across the INDOPACOM region starting this winter, the 5th SFAB combines these two asymmetric strengths in our campaign to remain a valuable partner for professional military forces in a free and open Indo-Pacific.”
