FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. — Dalton Tanner, a dining facility store room clerk at the Double DFAC at 6111 Indiana Ave., takes stock of the fresh turkeys Friday as Fort Leonard Wood's food preparation workers continue to prepare for the annual Thanksgiving holiday meal. More than 30,000 meals will be served throughout the day, utilizing 7,000 pounds of turkey, 1,200 pounds of shrimp, 2,000 pounds of beef and 2,000 assorted cakes and pies.Click here for more information on the installation's Thanksgiving plans.
