New York Times bestselling author Gregg Hurwitz will visit Fort Knox's Barr Memorial Library at noon March 19 as part of the Authors at Your Library program. He will discuss and sign "Into the Fire," the latest book in his Orphan X series.

Evan Smoak lives by his own code. Trained as an off-the-books government assassin they named Orphan X, he broke with the program and reinvented himself as The Nowhere Man, a figure hidden in the shadows who helps the truly desperate. Now, free of the Program for good, he turns to a dangerously uncertain future. Max Merriweather is at the end of his rope. His cousin has been brutally murdered, leaving Max an envelope that contains nothing but a mysterious key. It seems a simple enough case for The Nowhere Man to unlock. But with each threat he takes out, a deadlier one emerges--until it's clear that they're facing a city-wide terror and a mission that requires Evan to put himself at more risk than he's ever faced before as he's sent out of the dark and into the fire.

Hurwitz is the author of over 20 thrillers. His novels have won numerous literary awards and published in more than thirty languages. He has been involved in both the television and feature film world.

Hurwitz is also a New York Times bestselling comic book writer, known for his work on series for both Marvel and DC. He currently lives in California.

This event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase.
