Name: Joseph Paolucci

School: Florida Institute of Technology

Hometown: Havre de Grace, MD

Major: Aerospace Engineering

Cadet Paolucci epitomizes what it means to be a quiet professional, and consistently delivers excellence without needing recognition or time in the spotlight.

It would be easy for Cadet Paolucci to take a lesser role in the battalion activities being that he is in a difficult STEM major, but he is regularly taking on tough challenges and overcoming them with aplomb. This semester alone Cadet Paolucci has stepped up on multiple occasions to take the lead on battalion training events and has consistently delivered results beyond expectations.

Due to his strong work ethic and good leadership skills, Cadet Paolucci is highly recognized by the Cadre at FIT and is respected immensely by his peers. Cadet Paolucci is actively acknowledged as a strong contributor to the program and truly embodies the Warrior, Scholar, Athlete model that ROTC strives to develop in all of its Cadets.

In The Cadet's Own Words:

"I joined ROTC to serve my country in the hopes of following in my father's footsteps as an Aviation Officer. I am motivated by my family and my fellow Panther Battalion Cadets, especially those who strive to exceed the standard and be better."
