Marjorie Walrath, the performance management systems program manager within the Mission Support Directorate, has been awarded the Civilian Service Commendation Medal as the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command Civilian of the Year for 2019 for her exemplary performance. As the program manager, Walrath coordinated, managed and ensured the timely evaluation processing and submission of over 500 employee appraisals and monetary awards within the Acquisition Demonstration and Defense Performance Management and Appraisal Program systems. She was integral to the nearly flawless execution of the 2019 fiscal year 1223 pay pool administration, manually entering and updating critical performance marks and payout information for more than 350 personnel. Walrath's commitment to support the ISEC mission demonstrates both selfless service and superior dedication to Army values. Her efforts reflect greatly upon herself, ISEC, and the Department of the Army. When asked about her experience working with ISEC, Walrath said, "I've been with ISEC since 2003. My job can be challenging, but the great bunch of folks I work with in the ISEC family makes it worthwhile."
