USACE Buffalo District's Stow Field Office has a new location

BUFFALO, NY - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District Regulatory Stow Field Office has relocated to 3869 Darrow Road, Suite 100, in the City of Stow, Summit County, Ohio.

The new office is open as of October 15, 2019. The previous office at 1100 Graham Road Circle, in the City of Stow, Ohio has been closed. All future mail for Stow should be directed to the new address, or be sent to the Buffalo District office-Regulatory Branch at 1776 Niagara Street, Buffalo, NY 14207, or LRB.Regulatory@usace.army.mil Phone inquiries can be made to 716-879-4330.

Land owners contemplating construction projects that impact wetlands, lakes and/or streams may be required to obtain authorization from the Corps. Streams, lakes and wetlands are protected as "waters of the United States" under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act or Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899. In addition, a permit from the Corps may be required for dredging, filling, draining, or working in these protected resources. Failure to obtain the proper permits may result in a violation of federal law.

The Corps is committed to working with property owners in order to protect aquatic resources. Landowners who are unsure if there are jurisdictional waters or wetlands present on their property are urged to contact the Buffalo District Regulatory Branch (contact information above), or one of the Ohio field offices listed below:
