By Lt. Col. Roshun Steele, Anniston Munitions Center commanderDecember 13, 2019
ANNISTON ARMY DEPOT, Ala. -- As we approach the end of 2019 and launch into both a new year and a new decade, it is a great opportunity to reflect on this past year and prepare for the future.
First, let me say thank you to all the team members at the Anniston Munitions Center for your hard work and dedication throughout 2019.
ANMC's excellence in supporting the nation's war fighters is a testament to your professionalism and competence.
Thanks also to the Anniston Army Depot staff and workforce for the consistently outstanding support received in support of ANMC mission requirements.
I also want to share my appreciation for all of our friends, family members and community partners who support each of us as we meet mission requirements throughout the year.
As each of you celebrate the holidays, take time to reflect on the blessings enjoyed by you and your loved ones.
We are privileged to live in a nation which stands for freedom and to serve our country by supporting Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and Marines worldwide.
Please remember all of them who have sacrificed and served, and those who may be deployed and unable to be with their loved ones this holiday season.
Keep safety in mind while enjoying time with your family and friends.
Ensure you are well rested prior to traveling, avoid bad weather travel if possible, wear your seat belts and don't drink and drive.
We want to ensure everyone returns from the holidays safely and ready to take on the missions of 2020.
Also, while the season is a time of happiness for most, that may not be the case for everyone. Take time to check on your teammates, family members and friends.
Thanks again for all you do. From the Steele family to you and your family, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
