NAACP Honors Bronco Soldier for Outstanding Community Service

Staff Sgt. Jeffery Sailes, the headquarters platoon sergeant, Comanche Troop, 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division stands between Col. John Lubas, the 3rd Brigade Combat Team commander and Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Spear, the brigade's command sergeant major Oct. 30, 2019 after being presented with the Ida B. Wells-Barnett Meritorious Community Service Award from the Honolulu-Hawaii chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People at the Bronco Memorial, F Quad, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
Sailes was recognized for his humility, leadership and commitment to selfless service. He is an active member of his community where he volunteers as a youth soccer, track, and basketball coach.
