FORT BRAGG, N.C. -- For a number of Soldiers with the XVIII Airborne Corps, Sept. 18, 2019, marked the first time they parachuted from a high performance aircraft in over a year, jumping from a C130H Hercules at Fort Bragg, N.C., after returning from deployment.
The Corps' returned from Iraq and other parts of the Middle East after serving for more than a year as the Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve headquarters.
The airborne operation is a requirement for paratroopers to maintain jump status proficiency following their return from overseas.
