FORT SILL, Oklahoma (Sept. 19, 2019) -- Leadership Fort Sill is accepting applications for its next class, which starts Sept. 23.

The mentorship program is designed for mid-grade Department of the Army civilians (GS 11-13 or equivalent), to help them gain a broader perspective of the workings of the Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill.

The eight-month program meets monthly at host brigades, directorates, and units. Leadership Fort Sill assists its students in networking, exploring the learning environment, and provides an opportunity for participants to spend time with executive-level leadership on the installation.

"Participants will spend a day with select organizations on Fort Sill and participate in a series of educational forums exploring leadership, change management, project management, and mentor-mentee relationships," said Kyle Smith, dean of academics at the Directorate of Training and Doctrine. "Additionally, participants will enjoy special engagements with some of Fort Sill's executive-level senior leaders."

Applications must be submitted by the end of the day Oct. 7. More information on the program and application process can be found on the SharePoint link: https://fcoe.tradoc.army.mil/Lists/lft/Pending.aspx.
