Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Clifford Arrington, Information Systems noncommissioned officer assigned to the 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, pauses for a photo with his family before a Joliet Slammers home game, August 13, 2019 in Joliet, Illinois. Arrington was honored, throwing in a ceremonial first pitch, at the game during pre-game activities. Arrington has deployed twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and once to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom across his twelve years of service in the Army.
