Tech Expo buzzes in with new advancements

KAISERSLAUTERN, GERMANY -- Working smarter, not harder is a mantra of most successful organizations. The Army is no different, and one way to do that is with technology.

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz 2019 Tech Expo, July 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center on Daenner Kaserne, will show off the latest technology to help you work smarter, not harder.

"Anyone who comes will be able to talk to any of the 24 exhibitors who will be there," said Matt Davis, garrison information management officer and coordinator of the expo. "Everyone from Dell, Hewlett-Packard, B&H Photo, Cisco, Motorola, you name it. There will be local and international companies for your every tech need. And, these are all Department of Defense certified dealers."

Davis said those wishing to come should register ahead of time by going to www.federalevents.com/rheinland so they can just check in at the door and move on.

The Tech Expo is free and open to all Department of Defense ID card holders including; family members, civilians and contractors.

"This isn't just for the workplace. You'll see technology applicable for the home, for leisure as well as the office," Davis concluded.
