GRAFENWOEHR, Germany -- Approximately 3,200 participants from 27 nations will take part in operations during the live-fire portion of exercise Dynamic Front 19, March 2-9, 2019, at the U.S. Army's Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany; as well as in Riga, Latvia; and Torun, Poland.

The exercise is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by exercising allied and partner nation ability to integrate joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

Approximately 1,700 participants will come from the United States and approximately 1,500 service members are scheduled to participate from our allied and partner nations.

Nation participation ranges from observers to service members operating fires equipment in the field, including representatives from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

The exercise will involve about 100 artillery systems from participating countries.

Dynamic Front 19 will provide an intense, realistic environment that takes advantage of U.S. Army Europe and 7th Army Training Command's unique training resources to seamlessly coordinate fires in support of U.S. and allied operations.
