Deadline to submit for Army's xTechSearch 2.0 competition is quickly approaching

WASHINGTON -- The submission deadline to compete in the U.S. Army's second Expeditionary Technology Search, or xTechSearch 2.0, is Dec. 31.

The Army held its first competition earlier this year and due to its successful outcomes is continuing its efforts to find the best technologies from small businesses and start-ups to incorporate into Army technologies.

Phase I of xTechSearch 2.0 provides an opportunity for the non-defense traditional small business sector to submit white papers detailing novel game-changing innovations and technology solutions for Army leadership.

With a prize pool of $2.14 million, xTechSearch 2.0 is seeking novel, disruptive concepts and technologies to advance capabilities across multiple technology areas to include Long-Range Precision Fires, Next Generation Combat Vehicle, Future Vertical Lift, The Army Network, Air and Missile Defense; Increasing Soldier Lethality, Medical Technologies and Military Engineering Technologies.

All submissions must be received by Dec. 31 via the challenge.gov portal at https://challenge.gov/a/buzz/challenge/88/ideas/top no later than 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time).
