WIESBADEN, Germany -- Lieutenant General Christopher Cavoli U.S. Army Europe Commander welcomes Major General Valdemaras Rupšys the Lithuanian Commander of the Land Force to Wiesbaden, Germany the home of the U.S. Army Europe Headquarters with an Honor Cordon.

Rupšys and Sergeant Major Remigijus KATINAS, the Lithuanian Land Force Sergeant Major traveled to Wiesbaden to speak with Cavoli about increased opportunities of cooperation between the U.S. and Lithuanian land forces. The visit also recognizes the ongoing partnership and the past accomplishments between the two armies.

The 529th Military Police Company stationed in Wiesbaden provided the honor cordon and the color guard was made up of soldiers from the Wiesbaden Garrison. The U.S. Army Europe band played the Lithuanian and U.S. national anthems. Honor cordons are ceremonies or occasions that help to promote international goodwill.
