HONOLULU - Manuel Anduha (center) receives a special visit by Mickey and friends from the Disney Aulani Resort while receiving care at the Tripler Army Medical Center Pediatric Inpatient Ward, Dec. 4. Anduha is one of about ten kids who were able to experience the magic of Disney, known as the "happiest place on earth," right at Tripler. This is the second year in a row the characters have stopped by to visit with pediatric patients at the hospital during the holidays. Col. Mary V. Krueger, hospital commander, thanked the special guests for their support of TAMC's youngest patients stating, "Your commitment to bringing joy is so valuable and greatly appreciated." TAMC provides high quality; safe, patient-centered health care to Soldiers, Families, and Retirees throughout the region to include residents in nine U.S. affiliated jurisdictions (American Samoa, Guam, and the former Trust Territories) and forward-deployed forces in more than 40 countries throughout the Pacific.
