Oktoberfest is a 16-day festival held in Munich that lasts from late September to the first week of October. More than 5 million people attend the festival every year, consuming over 7 million liters of beer on average. Traditional Bavarian foods -- including Würstl (sausage), Brezel (pretzel), Käsespätzle (cheese noodles) and sauerkraut -- are also an important part of the celebration. Must bring passport.

Caving the Buso della Rana

Head underground to explore the dark tunnels of the Veneto's largest cave system, the Buso della Rana, with more than 34 kilometers of explored tunnels. This trip is for persons age 16 years old and older only. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Adriatic Sea Fishing

See what it's like to fish on a charter fishing boat. The boat will anchor off of a known fishing area and stay stationary for several hours while we fish for 3-6 pound mackerel. The trick for this type of fishing is to set your hook at the proper depth and be ready for when you feel a strike. ODR promises a fun day with fresh air on the sea, but cannot guarantee that you will catch fish. This type of fishing requires patience and attention to detail. Ages 16 years and older recommended. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.

Mount Pasubio 52 Tunnels Hike

Join Outdoor Recreation to hike the road called 52 Gallerie (tunnels). The route is more than 10 miles long, with many scenic views to enjoy along the way. We will stop for lunch at a mountain rifugio. Built in 1917, the road was used to provide lateral lines of communications and supplies to the Italian V Corps in the Pasubio area. The Gallerie were needed to quickly move troops and equipment along a line out of sight and artillery fire of Austrian and Hungarian enemy forces.
Paragliding

Experience the unique thrill of soaring through the air, catching thermals, with your feet dangling during a tandem paraglide jump. Paragliding is a seated parachute activity, and each participant will be paired with an instructor. The amount of time spent in the air while paragliding can vary based on the temperature and weather conditions. Expect the time from takeoff to landing to be about 15-25 minutes.
Paintball

Get the adrenaline pumping and eliminate your opponents with this fast-paced and extreme sport. Join Outdoor Recreation as they visit a favorite local field to play Speedball, a variation of paintball where the playing field is composed of a maze of bunkers that is mirrored on both sides. Use your own gear or borrow from Outdoor Recreation.

The Ederle and Del Din fitness centers have plenty of great classes to help everyone get in shape. Open to all skill levels. Classes include Zumba, cycling, taekwondo, yoga, power pump and many more. Self-defense classes are $12 per class/$70 for monthly pass.
