WHEELER ARMY AIRFIELD, Hawaii - The Soldiers of Bravo Company (Hillclimbers), 3rd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, were honored at a ceremony on June 5, prior to their nine-month deployment to U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in support of Operation Resolute Support.

The company will support the NATO mission, Operation Resolute Support, which focuses on Training, Advising, & Assisting the Afghan National Defense Security Forces to enhance their long-term sustainability.

The Hillclimbers will be tasked with providing heavy lift, aerial movement, and aerial support to units.

Following their short-notice orders to deploy, the company worked quickly with their counterparts in the 3-25 AVN to complete their pre-deployment training while continuing to provide first-class support to the 25th Inf. Div. and United States Army Pacific missions throughout the region.

"I'm amazed by these soldiers for everything they've accomplished in such a short amount of time," said Lt. Col. Jacob W. Miller, 3-25 AVN commander, and speaker during the deployment ceremony. "Every single one of them is ready, willing, and able. It's hard to watch them go, but I know without a doubt they will make us proud."

The company is slated to redeploy in spring 2019.
