The idea for a partnership between Antilles Elementary School and the U.S. Navy Reserve originated from various communications between Cdr. Robert Pritchard and Antilles Elementary School administrators who engaged in conversations about the possibility of the Navy affording the school the men and resources as service to the community. After thinking about possible projects to complete around AES, it was decided that a facelift to the campus was the most needed at the moment. These are just part of the work they did.
