Marines with combined Anti-Armor Platoon, execute a tube-launched, optically tracked, wire-guided missile fire while the marines with Surveillance and Target Acquisition Platoon and Company C, Weapons Platoon, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, and Marine Forces Reserve, assault targets from support-by-fire positions during a mission rehearsal exercise on U.S. Army Garrison, Fort A.P. Hill, Va., on April 6, 2018.
Along with its combat engineer battalion, combat logistics battalion, assault amphibious vehicle and artillery attachments the 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, conducted a 10-drill exercise in preparation for an integrated training exercise.
This mission rehearsal exercise was a stepping stone in a force generation plan to ensure that once 1st battalion, 25th Marines and 1st battalion, 23rd Marines, and other ready units will be able to rapidly respond to a national security threat with maximum capability.
