HONOLULU - The Physician to the President, Rear Adm. (Dr.) Ronny L. Jackson(center), recognized 10 staff members at Tripler Army Medical Center, also known as TAMC, on June 6, for their outstanding achievement in support of the White House Medical Unit and the President of the United States. For the past eight years, TAMC personnel have provided medical logistics support to the president and more than 200 staff members when they travel to Hawaii and throughout the region. Jackson personally thanked each Tripler employee and presented them with certificates during an official ceremony. TAMC serves as the premier health readiness platform in the Pacific and remains engaged with the White House Medical Unit for any future missions as needed.
