New York Times bestselling author Mark Sullivan, mystery and suspense author of 18 novels, discusses and signs "Beneath a Scarlet Sky" at noon today.
Sullivan is co-author of the No. 1 New York Times bestselling "Private series," which he writes with James Patterson.
Sullivan's No. 1 "Beneath a Scarlet Sky" was a decade in the making. The novel is based upon the true World War II story of Pino Lella, an Italian youth whose family, in hopes of protecting him from the war, sends him away to the apparent safety of a monastery. Lella quickly becomes involved in the resistance movement, only to, through a series of true but seemingly unbelievable circumstances, ends up as the driver of Maj. Gen. Hans Leyers, Adolph Hitler's top commander in Italy. Secretly working for the resistance, Lella's story is remarkable and one which has yet to be recounted before Beneath a Scarlet Sky.
