#WhyWeServeWednesday Pfc. Mason Elisha, a 20-year-old AH-64 Apache attack helicopter repairer and Grand Junction, Colorado native, D Co., 1-501st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion "Iron Dragons", joined the U.S. Army to gain some new experiences.

"This type of mission keeps me motivated," Elisha said regarding the mission here with Atlantic Resolve. "I'm looking forward to meeting and working with people from other countries."

Attack helicopter repairers are primarily responsible for Apache maintenance, including aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls.
