HOHENFELS, Germany -- Rain, snow and mud are no match for the U.S. Army Paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade as they use their well-honed skills to fight against the opposition during Exercise Allied Spirit VI in Hohenfels, Germany.

Under the control of the Latvian Land Brigade, the infantry combat power from 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment is further enhanced by the engineers from 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion and the fires capabilities provided by 4th Battalion 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment. All of the battalions depend upon the 173rd Brigade Support Battalion for logistical and life support. Working in unison throughout the exercise, the battalions that make up the majority of the 173rd Airborne Brigade are taking the fight to the opposition, overcoming any challenges thrown their way.
