"I chose to be a Career Counselor because in the Infantry, my previous MOS, the higher you move up in rank, the further you get from the Soldier. As a Career Counselor I get the opportunity to interact with Soldiers every day. I get the opportunity to discuss the problems that might be going on in their lives and offer possible solutions. I also get the chance to review their goals and suggest different courses of action that could achieve those goals."

-Master Sgt. Gary Norris, HHC, 8th MP Brigade, about being a career counselor
