First female Cavalry Scout assigned to 1st Cavalry Division

The first female Cavalry Scout completed her reclassification training Nov. 17 at Fort Hood and is now assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division's 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team. Sgt. Kayci Landes was the first female Soldier to re-enlist for the 19D MOS in May of this year. She was previously a 15R, an AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer.
