HONOLULU (November 3, 2016) -- Maj. Gen. Jeffrey B. Clark, director, Operations Directorate, Defense Health Agency met with Col. Scott Avery, chief of staff, Regional Health Command-Pacific (RHC-P) and Navy Capt. Paul Toland, chief operating officer, Hawaii enhanced Multi-Service Market (eMSM) Nov. 3, at RHC-P. The leaders convened to strengthen existing relationships while continuing to keep lines of communications open in order to promote interoperability. Through senior leader engagements, RHC-P and its healthcare partners around the Pacific, leverage regional medical capabilities sustaining advances through joint engagement programs. During the office visit, Avery provided Clark an overview of RHC-P's capabilities and capacity, while Toland spoke about how the Hawaii eMSM services its beneficiaries through nine combined Air Force, Army, and Navy military treatment facilities in Oahu.
