GRAFENWOEHR, Germany - New address. New name. Same unique service. For more than 40 years, the Joint Multinational Training Command's (JMTC) Training Support Activity Europe's (TSAE) General Support Center (GSC) was located about 15 kilometers from Frankfurt am Main in Roedelheim, Germany. As part of Global Rebasing initiatives the GSC has recently relocated to Camp Aachen in Grafenwoehr, Germany. In addition to the move, the facility has a new name. It has been renamed the Training Aids Production Center (TAPC).
Located at Building 3060, less than a kilometer from the new TSAE Headquarters, also at Camp Aachen, Buildings 3006-30011, the TAPC specializes in the design, production, and fabrication of non-standard (custom) training aids, models, displays, posters, exhibits, visual information services, or any other items that cannot be acquired from the Training Support Centers (TSCs) within United States Army Europe (USAREUR).
Two-and-three-Dimensional models, Stryker and HMMWV mock-ups, mine and grenade replicas are a few of the items produced at TAPC. Specialists use aluminum, metal, and plywood to build training enablers that support the warfighters.
Units that wish to request TAPC services can contact any TSAE TSC in Europe by calling their local DSN + 1398.
