WIESBADEN, Germany -- Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, commander, U.S. Army Europe, hosted an honor cordon to welcome Greek Gen. Mikhail Kostarakos, chairman of the European Union Military Community, here, Sept. 12.

Kostarakos visited U.S. Army Europe's headquarters to address USAREUR leaders and staff on his views of European security, to include NATO and EU cooperation and NATO Strategic Direction South. The honor cordon also was an opportunity for USAREUR leaders to inform the chairman of what USAREUR is doing in support of European Security.
