Specialist Adam McCoy, a 14T Patriot Launching Station Enhanced Operator/Maintainer, was selected as the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command's Soldier of the Week for 12-16 September 2016.
During the month of August, Spc. McCoy participated in and won a unit level board held by Charlie Battery, 5th Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery Regiment. Spc. McCoy competed against several other Soldiers in his battery, undergoing a uniform inspection conducted by the Battery 1st. Sgt., while being asked questions pertaining to a wide range of questions relating to various Army tasks. When Spc. McCoy isn't busy winning unit level competitions he can be found conducting any number of tasks aimed at increasing mission readiness. Whether it is sponsoring a new Soldier and their family, or motivating peers to get out of the barracks and into the gym during off duty hours, Spc. McCoy is always placing the mission first and taking care of his fellow Soldiers.
Spc. McCoy's motivation, performance, and commitment to the organization is in keeping with the highest standards of Charlie Battery, the 10th AAMDC, and the United States Army. Congratulations to Spc. McCoy, the 10th AAMDC Soldier of the Week!
