1SG Michael B. Isom entered the United States Army in 1992, where he attended basic training at Fort Knox, KY. Following basic training, 1SG Isom proceeded to Fort Huachuca, AZ where he was awarded his first MOS as a 96R "Ground Surveillance Operator". 1SG Isom later reclassified in November of 2005 to become a 15W Unmanned Aircraft Operator at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
