New MICC Perspectives available online

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas -- (July 12, 2016) The July 2016 web broadcast of MICC Perspectives is now available to view online.

MICC Perspectives is a recurring video program featuring the Mission and Installation Contracting Command's leadership team speaking on a variety of topics related to providing operational contract support. This production features an interview with the command team including Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Gabbert, the MICC commanding general, Clay Cole, deputy to the commanding general, and Command Sgt. Maj. Tomeka O'Neal, command sergeant major.

In the July 2016 production, they address various topics and questions submitted by members of the command. Topics include improvements to the MICC Desk Book, which establishes acquisition and contracting procedures for the command and implements federal, DOD and Army acquisition regulations and policies; readiness as the Army's No. 1 priority and improved levels in the MICC; the increase of purchasing agents in the 1105 career series throughout the MICC as a workforce level management tool; and staffing levels directed by the MICC 2025 transformation plan.
