Secretary of Defense Ash Carter and Maj. Gen. Bradley A. Becker, commanding general, U.S. Army Military District of Washington hosted Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, for an Armed Forces Full Honors Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery June 6, 2016 in honor of the Prime Minister's official visit to the United States.
After the wreath-laying ceremony, Modi laid a wreath at the Space Shuttle Columbia Memorial in the cemetery.
