Paratroopers from across the 82nd Airborne Division relied on teamwork and tactical expertise to overcome the challenges of the Best Squad Competition during All American Week 2016 on Fort Bragg, N.C., May 23.
The competition integrated scenarios the Paratroopers might encounter in a combat environment with an obstacle course.
Each squad was comprised of nine Paratroopers working as a team to complete the obstacle course, disassemble and reassemble various weapons, recover a disabled vehicle, treat a casualty and fire their weapons under stress.
The tasks were designed to test each Paratrooper's mental and physical stamina and endurance.
All American Week is an opportunity for 82nd Airborne Paratroopers, past and present, and their Families to come together, enjoy camaraderie and celebrate being members of the All American Division. This year's All American Week theme is "Tomorrow's Force, Today."
