Fort Shafter, Hawaii-- The Land Forces Pacific (LANPAC) Symposium, May 24-26 at the Sheraton Waikiki, is a professional development forum sponsored by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Institute of Land Warfare. Through a panel discussion format, U.S. Army leaders alongside joint and regional partners discuss and showcase the critical role of Pacific land forces.
The event brings together land force leaders, industry, academia, various agencies and our foreign partners in the Indo-Asia Pacific region to share unique views, experiences and capabilities. U.S. Army leadership from U.S. Army Pacific, Training and Doctrine Command, and the combined Arms Center are just some of the key participants together with leaders from U.S. Pacific Command, Special Operations, and Pacific Marines.
The professional dialogue and exchange of ideas over three days creates beneficial discourse and an understanding across the vast region of mutual interest, challenges, and concerns. The scheduled forums broaden the level of engagement and exchange, expands collaboration, and cultivates the spirit of innovation.
