Staff members from U.S. Army Medical Activity Japan (MEDDAC-J) recently celebrated Nurse and Medic Appreciation Week at BG Crawford F. Sams US Army Health Clinic. Nurse week is nationally recognized to celebrate the irreplaceable contributions of nurses on the care of our population. Concurrently, MEDDAC-J celebrated the Medics of BG Crawford F. Sams, who continue to demonstrate that they are both technically and tactically proficient in the care of Soldiers and family members at Camp Zama.

The weeklong event began with a Cake and Ice Cream Social in which patients were able to get to know the Nurses and Medics of BG Crawford F. Sams. The week culminated with a 4K fun run which included MEDDAC-J staff and family members as well as some furry friends who were as enthusiastic about the event as any.
