"It's not 'what can Cpt. Spencer do, but what can Jessica do?' Better yet, 'what can Jess do?'"
That is the advice Jessica Spencer, Corporate Fellow with Starbucks and recent Army retiree, gave to service members preparing to transition from military service. Spencer was a guest speaker on a panel discussion at an Executive Symposium on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, May 4, 2016.
The JBLM Soldier for Life-Transition Assistance Program coordinated the event with Hire America's Heroes, a non profit organization that helps service members transition from the miltiary to the private sector.
SFL-TAP coordinates events regularly for our #USArmy team members who have reached the end of their military career. To see what SFL-TAP can do for you, visit the Hawks Transition Center on the corner of 41st Division and A Street on JBLM-Lewis North.
