Private First Class Juan D. Alvarado, a 14E Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator Maintainer, was selected as the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command's Soldier of the Week for 18 to 22 April 2016.

In the six months that Alvarado has been assigned to the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, he has sponsored and in-processed three of his peers, ensuring that each one of his fellow Soldiers had a friendly and dependable face to receive them into the unit. He promptly introduced these new Soldiers to their leadership and familiarized them with the Kaiserslautern Military Community.

Alvarado also distinguished himself by earning the Army Physical Fitness Badge during his most recent Army Physical Fitness Test with a score of 291.

Alvarado sets the example for his fellow Soldiers to follow, lives the Army Values both on and off duty, and encapsulates the Soldier's Creed and Warrior Ethos in every mission he is assigned. Congratulations!
